A cast member of Arrested Development said he would be willing to star in a fifth season of the show.

Tony Hale, who plays Buster Bluth on the recently revived sitcom, revealed to USA Today recently that he was hopeful about starring on another season of Arrested Development.

"I'm hoping so," Hale admitted. "It's the kind of thing where everybody would do it because we all love [showrunner] Mitch Hurwitz. We all love the writing."

Arrested Development was cancelled after three seasons on the Fox network in 2006 but was revived for a fourth season on Netflix, which provided streaming for the entire fourth season in May 2013. Hurwitz said that more Arrested Development was "definitely" coming, but it may not be as an episodic season of television.

"I keep thinking about it, and why don't we do the movie version of this and then do the series, because this series kinda peaks with the story?" Hurwitz asked hypothetically at a comedy event in late July. "Whatever we do, I want to get the cast all together and not do another anthology thing and that's why I keep thinking about kicking off with a special or a three-part show and then going into a series."

Netflix expressed interest in streaming more new episodes of Arrested Development. Series producer Brian Grazer was allegedly in talks with Netflix in July to produce another seasonNetflix has not made an official announcement regarding producing any new content for the cult sitcom, but fans should expect more new stories about the Bluth family in the future.
