None of these actors have confirmed that they would be on the show, though Deen's representatives said that "The dance floor is not the appropriate forum for her" in relation to the rumors that began in early August.

The rumors that Stamos was going to appear on the show this fall were intensified when a Huffington Post writer tweeted that a "yogurt spokesperson" was going to be on season 17. Stamos is a spokesperson for Dannon's Oikos yogurt. The writer has since explained that the tweet was a joke.

Reports stated the producers may not really want Abraham, who has starred in a sex tape since her appearance on Teen Mom, since Dancing With the Stars is arguably considered a family show.
