The dates for Jay-Z's "Made In America" festival have been announced. The event, which will take place on September 1-2 in Philadelphia, is slated to be headlined by both Jay-Z and Pearl Jam. Performances from Rick Ross, Santigold and Hova are just a few of the acts to play at the two-day event. 

The Made event promises to be the biggest festival to hit Philadelphia since "Live 8" in 2005.  There will be three stages and 28 artists performing at the event. Passion Pit, Odd Future, Skrillex, D'Angel, Afrojack, Dirty Projectors, Janelle Monae, Miike Snow, Calvin Harris, Rita Ora, The Knocks, DJ Savoy, X, and Prince Royce are all set to perform.

Another music event, "Rock the Bells" 2012, will also take place in New Jersey at PNC Arts Center in the same weekend as Jay-Z's "Made In America" Festival. The hip-hop event will kick off in San Bernardino, CA, Aug 18-19 at the NOS Events Center, before hitting Mountain View, CA, on August 25-26, and wrapping up in New Jersey on Sept 1-2. Tickets for the events have already gone on sale last Friday.
