Although the world of Pushing Daisies came to a grinding halt in 2009, series creator Bryan Fuller would very much like to see Daisies actors take up roles in his newest creation.
Speaking to E! last May, Fuller stated that he was actively trying to recruit Lee Pace, Anna Friel, and Kristin Chenoweth for season 2 of Hannibal. Unfortunately, the trio has yet to be booked for NBC's psychological thriller.
"We really tried!" Fuller lamented when he broke the bad new to E!. "[Pace] was in New Zealand filming The Hobbit, then London for Guardians of the Galaxy, then right into Halt for AMC. And Anna, we tried to get her for a five-episode arc, but she had just been cast in Odyssey."
Daisies/Hannibal fans should despair completely, however. There may still be hope for a future appearance from Chenoweth.

"I would love to get her on the show as a diva. Hannibal Lector is exposed to that world, and it would be so fun to see her in a different world."
Alas, the former Olive Snook may have to wait and see if Hannibal makes it to a third season.
