It is being suggested that Laurel might take a surprising step after learning about Oliver's true identity in the next episode of Arrow's second season.

The executive producer of the show, Andre Kreisberg, spoke to TVGuide suggesting that she will take her time before taking any action after finding out about Oliver's true identity.

"It doesn't sound like she will jump right into action. 'Does she actually believe [Slade]?' he said. 'Laurel's reaction to hearing that news is going to surprise people and it will also validate people's faith in her character. For all the people who love her, they'll love her even more. Maybe some of the people who didn't love her will change their minds.'"

He also suggested the fans will be very surprised by Laurel's initial reaction to the revelation, in an interview with TVLine.

"'I think that people have been primed to expect Laurel's reaction to be one thing,' Kreisberg told me, 'and they're going to be very surprised by her actual reaction.'"

Oliver and Felicity Join Forces to Take Slade Down in Episode 19?  

Here's the official synopsis for the next episode, The Man Under the Hood: 

"Deathstroke Hits Oliver at Home - Oliver (Stephen Amell), Canary (Caity Lotz), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) return to the lair and find Slade (Manu Bennett) waiting for them. An epic battle breaks out and one member of Team Arrow is sent to the hospital. Thea (Willa Holland) hits her breaking point, but just as Oliver is about to reach her, Slade intervenes and Oliver is faced with a choice - his battle with Slade or his family. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) struggles with a new secret. Jesse Warn directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Geoff Johns and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Keto Shimizu."

Arrow will return on April 16 and air at 8 p.m. on CW.
