It seems the recent story of Courtney Ames on MTV's reality-based 16 and Pregnant sparked enough viewer interest for Ames to answer a number of follow-up questions about her situation. There was a lot of uncertainty regarding her future and the future of her child by the end of her MTV episode, and so the teen offered to open up to audiences on her own.

According to one source, Ames responded to viewers online to give everyone a more thorough update. Ames reported that she and boyfriend Scott, whom she moved in with on the MTV program, are in fact still a couple. After getting pregnant, the religious Ames decided to return to a life of abstinence until she was married, which created some conflict between her and Scott. "Sex is a very important thing to me... that's why I'm waiting [until marriage]."

Ames also announced that she and Scott plan to marry in July and that her relationship with Scott has improved significantly since he became more involved with their six-month-old son, Dayton. "Scott's a good daddy and is getting much better," said Ames, "Him and Dayton have a great relationship now! It just took him a while to come around!"

16 & Pregnant Season 6 Rumors

Viewers were skeptical about Scott's parenting skills after he initial refused to hold his child, claiming that it was not something men were supposed to do.

Ames, who recently finished high school, is currently pursuing a career in cosmetology and looking after her family.
