Who would be appearing in the highly anticipated Magic Mike: XXL has been a major source of endless rumors and speculation, but as fans wonder what new actors will take off their clothes for the camera, some of the ones who appeared in the original film may not have a good chance of returning.

Matthew McConaughey NOT Returning For 'Magic Mike 2?'

Though no one except for Channing Tatum and Joe Manganiello have apparently confirmed their returns for the sequel, one of the original Magic Mike's stars may have to work a little harder than the rest in order to get back into the franchise.

Alex Pettyfer, who co-starred in the original film as Adam, the up-and-coming protege of Tatum's Magic Mike character, could be out of luck when it comes to appearing in the sequel, though he apparently wants to be included.

Matt McGorry & Taye Diggs Joining Cast?

His rough and tumultuous relationship with Tatum on the set of the first film is reportedly coming back to haunt him now, as he is desperate to be a part of the sequel--but may need to find a way to appeal to Tatum.

"Alex is dying to reprise his role, but Channing is on the fence," a source told OK! Magazine. "It's going to take a lot of sucking up for Alex to get his part back."

The source also reportedly said that Tatum found the 24-year-old actor to be too cocky and difficult to work with.

OK! also reported on the fight between the two actors back in 2012, saying at the time that Tatum forbade Pettyfer from attending the cast's cover shoot for Entertainment Weekly.

"Those around them tried to mend their relationship, but Channing doesn't want anything to do with Alex," a source said at the time. "Channing said he didn't want to do [the shoot] if Alex was there. Alex is known in Hollywood for being rude and difficult."
