On July 31, the USA gymnastic's team, nicknamed the "Fab Five," celebrated with tears and loud shouts as they grabbed the gold medal in the Women's Team final competition.

USA had a score of 183.596. The silver medal went to Russia and bronze was given to Romania.

Within Team USA, Gabby Douglas came in first and Mckayla Maroney came in second. Douglas, 16, was a gold medalist at the 2011 World Championships with her team in Tokyo and came in first for the uneven beam at the 2012 Visa Championships and the Secret U.S. Classic.

The 'Fab Five" have now won the first team Olympic gold medal for USA since the 1996 Summer Olympics.

The Soviet Union has 200 Olympic gymnastics medals in total, 81 of them being gold, with USA in second with 94 Olympic gymnastics medals.

The July 31 game marks the last gymnastics competition in the 2012 Olympics. The Games began with the official opening ceremony in London on July 27 and will go until Aug. 12.

The Olympics Games cater to 12 men's teams and 12 women's gymnastics teams, with a maximum of five athletes per team.

Jordyn Wieber,17, was eliminated towards qualifying in the all-around Women's Individual finals. In the 2011 World Championship, she won the bronze for the balance beam and this year is back to do the same feat but hopefully to win the gold. She helped Team USA in Tokyp to win gold over Russia and China. In Tuesday's final women's team competition, Wieber performed on the balance beam, Gabby Douglas did the uneven bars, McKayla Maroney did the vault and Aly Raisman showed her skills on the floor round.
