In the photo, the 23-year-old stood with some of his co-stars, including former NCIS star Cote de Pablo. This will be her first TV role since de Pablo left the popular CBS hit last year. The Chilean-American actress, 34, appears in the picture with a slightly different look wearing no makeup and sporting short hair.

"#thedovekeepers clan in Mdina after good wine and great company. @rachiebros #JonasArmstrong #MidoHamada #CotedePablo #LukeRoberts," Boneta wrote as the caption on Oct. 4.

De Pablo will star in the upcoming series as Shirah, a "sensual, mysterious and fiercely independent single mother with uncanny insights and a quiet and mysterious power," according to CBS.

"We are thrilled to have Cote de Pablo starring in The Dovekeepers," Downey said in a statement. "Her talent, strength and beauty will light up the screen in the important role of Shirah."

The show is based on Alice Hoffman's 2011 historical novel of the same name, which tells the true story of 900 Jewish people who the Romans forced to evacuate to Masada, an ancient fortification. The Dovekeepers is expected to premiere in 2015 on CBS.

Cast member Rachel Brosnahan also shared a photo from set on Sept. 30, which showed her in costume standing next to a camel. “Yesterday a camel licked my ear. #TheDovekeepers Day 1,” she wrote as the caption.
