Savannah Georgia has been the site of some of Hollywood's hottest actors as they film Magic Mike: XXL, but one main cast member from the first film of the series hasn't been among them.

Jada Pinkett Smith & More Sign On For 'Magic Mike' Sequel

Channing Tatum, Joe Mangniello and Matt Bomer have all reportedly been in the southern town filming scenes for the highly-anticipated sequel film, but notably missing from the action has been Alex Pettyfer-and it appears the actor may not be anywhere near the city at all-and could truly not be a part of the sequel film.

While Tatum and Manganiello have been spotted around town with both Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Sofia Vergara, Pettyfer has been posting from different locations on his Instagram page-and none of them are anywhere near Georgia.

Channing Tatum Wants Zac Efron & Chris Pratt To Be In 'Magic Mike 2?'

"San Francisco food #lovethiscity #foodfanatic #49ers," he captioned an October 4 photo of the food he was eating at the time, hinting he was in the city and enjoying a trip there instead of filming scenes in Georgia.

While Matthew McConaughey and Cody Horn were both confirmed to not be taking part in the sequel film, there has been no official confirmation on whether or not Pettyfer would be involved with the project, though his arguments with Tatum on the set of the original 2012 film were rumored to be keeping him excluded from the sequel.

Reports surfaced in July that Pettyfer wanted to be a part of the new film, was Tatum was hesitant to let him come back following their feuds.

"Alex is dying to reprise his role, but Channing is on the fence," a source told OK! Magazine at the time. "It's going to take a lot of sucking up for Alex to get his part back."

If Pettyfer isn't a part of the film however, the film may not be hurt by a lack of high-caliber names as Live with Kelly and Michael host Michael Strahan is confirmed to be stripping in a role for the film. Also confirmed to be in the film are several female actors (though none of them are reportedly expected to strip)-including Elizabeth Banks, Jada Pinkett Smith, Amber Heard and Andie MacDowell.

Magic Mike: XXL hits theaters July 1, 2015.
