Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) believed he was on the verge of finally taking back his company, but he will learn that once again he has been defeated-and in fact betrayed-by one of his sons on Days of Our Lives.

Chad Makes A New Enemy

His previous attempt to take back DiMera Enterprises from Sami and Kate (Lauren Koslow) was blocked by EJ-and now, after Sami left town following EJ"s sudden death, Stefano saw an opportunity to win back control from just Kate, and was hoping his other son, Chad (Billy Flynn) would help him.

Now though, Stefano will learn that Chad was actually only helping himself-and played both his father and Kate, in order to gain control as Kate's co-CEO. When Stefano learns of his son's betrayal, he could be forced to do the same things to him that he did after EJ betrayed him, and remove him from the protection of being a DiMera, at the risk that if someone comes at him like they did EJ, that he would once again lose a son.

Hope Learns Disturbing News About Aiden

Meanwhile, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will now confront Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) after finding something disturbing while borrowing his tablet. On a previous internet search on the device, Hope saw that he had searched her full name with the key words "money" and "fortune" attached-meaning he was trying to determine how much she was worth.

The fact that he was searching that information won't sit well with Hope, and now she will confront her new boyfriend about his true intentions concerning their relationship. If Aiden can't truly explain away the search, it could destroy the new romance before it had a chance to really develop.
