Michael Jordan's Son Marcus Fined $250 Over Omaha Hotel Incident
Michael Jordan's son Marcus Jordan, 21, was fined $250 in connection to a peace disturbance incident at a Nebraska hotel in July.
The son of the NBA star pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace at a Douglas County Court on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.
HIs lawyer told the Associated Press that his client had even went to the police station to apologize for his actions.
Jordan was arrested in July in Omaha, Nebraska after what police described as a drunken altercation with two women outside the Embassy Suites in Omaha.
Police said Jordan was "very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative," and subdued him.
It reportedly took multiple officers to control him, according to a news release by Omaha police.
Jordan was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing justice.
This is not the first incident for which Jordan has made headlines this week. The basketball player said he will not be returning to play next season with the University of Central Florida's team, according to the New York Daily News.
