Taraji P. Henson struck gold when she landed the role of the now infamous Cookie on Fox's Empire, but now Cookie seems to be taking over more than Henson might have expected.

The actress made an appearance on Thursday's episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers and confessed, "She's sort of my alter ego...[But] I hate her. She's stolen my identity. No one ever calls me by my name anymore. They call me Cookie."

But she said it does have its perks.

Still, there's a little bit of Henson that creeps into Cookie's character as well. She confessed that she's the brains behind many of the hilarious one-liners that have become popular catch phrases on social media and in reality.

Henson said that the "boo boo kitty" was also a random slogan that she came up with on the show and it happened to stick.

"It's the new 'Bye Felicia!'

She said that her line, "Shut up Dora!" was off the cuff because she didn't want Raphael de la Fuente (who plays Michael Sanchez) to top her in the on-camera conversation. The Think Like A Man actress really doesn't like people to one-up her when adding their own lines into the script. She said Naomi Campbell learned that as well.

"She tried to side swipe me by adding a line, Cookie was ready. So I said to her, 'I want me some grandbabies. But you got them dried up Benjamin Button eggs."

Henson said that line didn't make the cut. She was shocked, considering she played Benjamin Button's mother in the film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
