We are only a little over a week away from being able to observe Christopher Nolan's latest cinematic masterpiece "Dark Knight Rises." Many are predicting that the Batman prequel will burst on the motion picture scene in not only a big way, but on a massive historic scale.

Katie Holmes is set to work on her next film as a writer and producer next week. The storyline is based on the life of a single mother raising her daughter, according to People.com. The film, titled "Molly", will be shot on location in New York City, where Katie reportedly purchased a new apartment last week. Thirty-three-year-old Holmes will film there until late August.

UFC fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who had a breakthrough role as B.A. Baracus in 2010's The A-Team, is set for his final fight in the Octagon. Jackson, who scored the biggest role of his acting career when he assumed the role made famous by Mr. T on television in the 1980s, will fight 32-year-old Glover Teixeira on October 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at UFC 153.

The star is back in the spotlight for the Oliver Stone-directed movie, “Savages,” which opened this past weekend. However, recent press scrutiny has been far less welcome.
