Hantavirus: 2nd Victim Dies After Contracting Virus From Yosemite National Park

The hantavirus has claimed its second victim this week. Another visitor who had visited Yosemite National Park's Curry Village this summer has died after contracting the mysterious virus this summer. So far, there are three confirmed cases of this virus, which has claimed two lives. Another case is being investigated, which could be the fourth confirmed case.

NOAA, National Hurricane Center in Miami predicts that Tropical Storm Isaac will become Hurricane Isaac as it travels over the Gulf of Mexico and hits late Tuesday into Wednesday. Voluntary evacuations were suggested for coastal parish residents in Louisiana. However, mandatory evacuations were executed for 53,000 residents in the St. Charles Parish and the east bank of Plaquemines Parish.

Hurricane Isaac 2012 is well on it's way northeastward toward the U.S. Gulf Coast region. Tropical Storm Isaac is expected to become an intense category 2 hurricane as it travels over the warm Gulf of Mexico and strikes west of New Orleans until the panhandle of Florida, the Chicago Tribune reported. U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) spokesman Dennis Feltgen said category 2 Hurricane Isaac will be "enough to knock you over."
