In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Sharon Stone expressed grief over having to play a recurring role in Law & Order: SVU, calling it a career low for her.

Rollins' Family To Complicate Things For Her In Season 17

The actress played the part of Jo Marlowe, an assistant district attorney in season 11 of the NBC procedural. According to the actress it was probably one of the worst career choices she has made for her profession. Her comments about attaching her name to the show are nothing short of scathing..

"That was humiliating," Stone said. "Having worked with the finest people in the industry, I was like, 'Wow, I'm really at the back of the line here. I'm wearing L'eggs panty hose, and in makeup they start out by putting this white primer on my face. I'm like, 'This is so bad. What did I do to deserve this?'"

The actress revealed that she was prepared to work her way up to the best in the business again. But it is a bit disconcerting for her to allude to the NBC show as a "cattle car," even though it might not be as reputable as other projects she has worked on.

"I thought, 'You know what? I got thrown off the bullet train, and now I'm going to have to crawl up a hill of broken glass, get back on the train that's going a million miles an hour, and work my way from the cattle car up. That's just the way it is, so I'd better get humble and shut the f--k up and do the job. Because if I can't do this job, I'm certainly not going to be able to do anything else.'"

This will definitely be discouraging for any movie stars who might be considering a guest role on the show.

Here's the actress singing a rather different tune about the prospect of joining the show back in 2010:
