Fans are still mourning the potential death of fan favorite character Glenn Rhee (Steven Yuen) on The Walking Dead, but there's a chance another huge favorite could soon be making an exit from the show as well.

Fans Weren't Happy About That Death Being Spoiled For Them On Social Media

According to reports, Norman Reedus, who portrays fan favorite Daryl, has signed on to his own show on AMC-Ride with Norman Reedus, which will follow the actor as he rides his motorcycle around to different destinations, with different companions joining him for different legs of the trip.

"I'm incredibly excited and thankful to AMC for giving me the opportunity to share a passion of mine with our fans, and hopefully a whole new audience," Reedus said in a statement. "I had a lot of fun filming and exploring, and I hope it shows."

Danger Grows With The Massive Walker Heard

And while news of a show of his own (on the same network as the wildly popular TWD) wouldn't usually necessarily mean there was a chance his character was about to die, it may not seem like the most positive news for the character, directly on the heels of Glenn's presumed death.

Though quite a few hints have been dropped since the controversial episode which appeared to show Glenn ripped to death by Walkers that the character is actually still alive, some took to social media to tease that by the mid-season finale, he would once again be back-but Daryl would be gone, because Reedus reportedly had not yet renewed his contract with the show.

In addition, in the season 6 trailer which dropped over the summer, Daryl appears to be in danger before the season comes to an end, potentially kidnapped by the Wolves and tied to a tree-with a gun pointed at his head.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
