There's been a multitude of attacks coming in and threatening everyone in Alexandria's well-being, but now that the Wolves have been temporarily handled within the town's walls, the massive herd of walkers threatening to tear them down will continue being a major obstacle on The Walking Dead.

Alexandria Faces An Unexpected Threat

The walkers aren't at the town's gates yet, but the effort to lead them far away was halted when the Wolves attacked the town and left a walker leaning against a truck horn-alerting the others to Alexandria's location. Now, Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Glenn (Steven Yuen) and the rest of the group who are outside will be forced to do whatever they can to prevent the herd from reaching the community and taking away their new home.

"You have to keep going. No waiting, no hiding," Rick tells the group in a preview clip for the Sunday, October 25 episode. "If something's in front of you, you kill it."

However, the dangerous threat could prove to be too much for them to handle on their own, and the group could begin to flee to anywhere that can seem safe-but nothing seems to be keeping them out of the way of the herd, which is determined to rip them to shreds.

"They're coming," Michonne (Danai Gurira) says in the clip.

And sure enough, the threat could prove to be too ominous-and someone could fall as the group tries to escape back to town.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on AMC.
