Derek Jeter and Hannah Davis have always been pretty tight lipped about their romance, but has that changed since they are now getting ready to the knot?

Reports confirmed late last month that the two are now engaged after the MLB All-Star popped the question to his supermodel girlfriend, now fiancée.

But even a diamond ring isn’t enough to get Jeter to speak on their upcoming wedding plans. Jeter, who retired last year, said that he has been keeping busy with his new site, The Players’ Tribune.

When it comes to the ceremony, Jeter told reporters at Joe Torre’s Safe at Home event at Broadway’s Cipriani, “You know I ain’t…Come on, man.”

When one bold reporter made it clear that it was their responsibility to ask questions like that, Jeter jokingly reassured them, “You don’t have to.”

He did say a little bit more when asked if one of his closest friends and ex teammate Jorge Posada will stand beside him as his best man.

“I haven’t seen Jorge in a while. I’ve got to see him.”

As for Torre, he even said more about Jeter’s even than Jeter himself.

“I don’t know (if I’m going to wedding)—if I get an invitation. That was pretty cool. I think it’s great. Hannah’s a lovely lady. It’s exciting for him. I know he’s special, he always will be. He’ll always be a kid to me. It’s great.”

Jeter and Davis had been dating for a little more than three years before he proposed.
