Safaree Samuels and his ex, Nicki Minaj, might not be on good terms, but her brother has definitely found a friend in Samuels as he faces criminal charges.

Minaj’s brother, Jelani Maraj, is said to be camping out at a place Samuels paid for as he faces charges of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. It was actually Nicki's mother who paid $100,000 for him to be released on bail, but it looks like Samuels is taking it from there.

Maraj and his wife Jacqueline, with whom he tied the knot back in August, are living in the Long Island, NY home along with her children, Bossip reported Friday.

Apparently Samuels, as well as Tori Spaulding, teamed up to pay $535,000 on the Nassau County home last year. Samuels actually bought the 2,100 square foot home that features four bedrooms and three bathrooms last summer.

It’s not known when Maraj, his wife and the children became residents.

As for as his legal trouble, Maraj allegedly assaulted the pre-teen for seven months before he was taken into custody. He could get up to 50 years behind bars in a New York state prison.

Jacqueline has refused to speak on the charges.

Jacqueliene, along with Maraj’s mother, was by his side Wednesday when he made an appearance in court for a preliminary hearing. Nicki was not spotted. See the photos here.

It’s also not clear what Nicki thinks about her brother’s living arrangements.
