Home Alone vs. Miracle on 34th Street (1947 Version)
Home Alone is a proper laugh, mixing comedy and drama into the perfect Christmas-themed movie! Macaulay Culkin shines as Kevin McCallister as he realizes he loves his family despite fighting with them a lot, and being together on Christmas is totally important. Plus, he totally kicks the burglars' butts--they are terrorizing his neighborhood while everyone is out of town for the holidays.
Miracle on 34th Street is another comedy-drama taking place around Christmastime. It's full of interesting characters, including Kris Kringle (Edmund Gwenn), the real Santa. This movie has easily become a must-watch during the holiday season!

Gremlins vs. Die Hard
Gremlins is a hilarious and slightly frightening movie set during the holiday season! This isn't exactly your typical Christmas film, but it has become a favorite of many since the Mogwai Gizmo (Howie Mandel) is adorable, yet causes a lot of chaos since Billy (Zach Galligan) doesn't exactly follow the rules of caring for him. Die Hard isn't your typical Christmas film either, but since it does take place during the holiday season, many have deemed it a Christmas movie. The way Gizmo steals the spotlight in Gremlins, John McClane (Bruce Willis) does the same in Die Hard. He initially is looking to fix his marriage, but winds up taking out a bunch of terrorists before making things right with his estranged wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia). Which Christmas film is better? A Charlie Brown Christmas vs. A Christmas Story
A Charlie Brown Christmas that's based off the Peanuts comic strip is an absolute must-watch this holiday season. Charlie Brown (Peter Robbins) realizes what Christmas is all about in this animated film that many adore and consider a favorite Christmas movie. A Christmas Story is all about Ralphie (Peter Billingsley) wanting a Red Ryder Carbine-Action, 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle with a compass in the stock and a sundial. Multiple people unfortunately tell him it's not a good idea for a Christmas gift, but eventually his dad (Darren McGavin) gets him the coveted toy and a bunch of silliness ensues. It's a Christmas classic! Which Christmas film is better? Vote:
Love Actually vs. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Love Actually is a British romantic comedy set during the Christmas season that focuses on several different couples dealing with their romances in very different ways. Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley and a bunch of other great British thespians star in it, and it has earned a place in many people's hearts as a must-watch during this time of the year.
While Love Actually is all about romance with a bit of humor in the mix, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is pure hilarity. The Griswold family finds itself in a pickle a lot. It's hard not to laugh the whole way through this film.
