Filming for Outlander's season 2 is nearing an end, and Caitriona Balfe (Claire) weighed in on the season's funniest moment - which also happened to be one of the most terrifying - in a new Starz featurette.

"I think when I laughed the hardest was probably out of fear when the carriage I was in nearly sort of did a one-wheeled swerve around a corner," Balfe recounted. "The carriage just sort of slides over, goes up on one wheel, and pops the curb. All I could do was sit in the back and laugh, but it was kind of out of terror."

Oh, the dangers of 18th century travel.

This spring Outlander will transfer the events of Diana Gabaldon's Dragonfly in Amber from book to screen. Claire and Jamie (Sam Heughan) put Scotland in the rearview as season 1 came to a close, and the sophomore run will see the couple take up residence in the French capital. The time traveler and the Highlander have the chance to change Scotland's history for the better, and Paris is the place to start.
