The Flash speed into our hearts in 2015, and the last year gifted us with some amazing scenes. It's was hard to pick just five, so we had to give you six.

'The Flash' Season 2: The Reverse Flash Returns In New Promo! Which Earth Will He Be From?

"To Me You've Been Dead for Centuries"

Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) was only dead for all of five minutes, but Valdes heartbreaking (heh heh) performance still makes us want to cry. Coming from a character who's known for his comic timing and metahuman naming prowess, Cisco's somber realization that there was absolutely nothing he could do to stop Wells showcased an entirely different side of Valdes' acting chops.

On the upside, the intensity of Cisco's alternate timeline memories served as a catalyst for his transition into Vibe.

'The Flash' Season 2: Will Wally's Illegal Need For Speed Cause A West Family Rift? Keiynan Lonsdale Explains

Barry & Nora's Goodbye

Can we count the entire season 1 finale as a Top 5 moment? No? Well, we tried. Of all the scenes in "Fast Enough," the meeting between Barry (Grant Gustin) and his mother should have had even the most soulless of viewers in tears. We'd been waiting all season for their reunion, and Gustin knocked it out of the park.

"Like Marty and the Polaroid Trippy"

Packed with revelations and rife with humor, Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) discovery of the Time Vault was as amusing as it was tense. Not only did the trio find out that Wells was from the future, they discovered a West/Allen marriage, met Gideon, and solved a major problem simply through asking politely. We heart it.

Enter Zoom

Oh, Barry, you should have listened to Jay (Teddy Sears). You are no match for Zoom, and you found that out in the most public and painful way possible. Enough said.

King Shark

In what was undoubtedly the most expensive 30 seconds of The Flash, viewers were introduced to the most horrifying metahuman to ever cross through the breach. Zoom may be the dark prince of speedsters, but nothing can freeze a person's blood quite like seeing their Jaws nightmares play out on dry land. It was Patty Spivot, however, who stole the scene. If anyone had any doubts about Patty's (Shantel VanSanten) ability to fit into the world of STAR Labs, her confrontation with King Shark handily dispelled them.

Bonus

Because we couldn't pick just five, and the Joe(Jesse L Martin)/Barry dynamic is everything.
