Wally West suddenly has a cop and a reporter in his life, and for the newest addition to The Flash family, that might not be the most advantageous arrangement.

Joe's (Jesse L Martin) son is all grown up, and he doesn't need his new dad--or sister--nosing around in his business, particularly when his job isn't on the up and up. The teen has a need for speed, but unlike Barry (Grant Gustin), Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) feeds that obsession through drag racing.

"One thing I can say is Wally's really into drag racing, which is not the ideal thing when your father is a detective and your sister's a reporter," Lonsdale teased, according to Variety. "So that's going to cause some tension, and Iris, especially ... she's a fierce character so she's pretty concerned over that, which kind of shows that she's accepting him as a brother, really."

While Iris' (Candice Patton) concern is touching, Wally won't be particularly pleased that these strangers are trying to change his ways. For his part, the future Kid Flash won't believe his life even needs any adjustments.

"For Wally, his walls are up pretty high. He's quite defensive about who he is, what he does, and he doesn't want a lot of those things to change, and doesn't really believe that those things should be changed by newcomers in his life," the actor explained. "Just because Joe is his dad, just because Iris is his big sister, doesn't mean that he feels like they can control him in any way."

It appears the West family will have a lot to chew on when The Flash returns in the new year. Are they up for it?
