Matt Barnes is either throwing shade or really unbothered after his friend and former teammate turned arch nemesis, Derek Fisher, was fired as coach for the New York Knicks.

The two NBA ballers’ friendship hit a snag after Barnes found out that Fisher was messing around with his estranged wife, Gloria Govan. He made headlines after he drove roughly 100 miles to go catch Fisher at Govan’s home and beat him up all around the house.

Now that Fisher has fallen on a little bad luck, Barnes might have a response. He posted a photo of himself on Instagram just hours after the news of Fisher getting fired was announced.

While he is smirking in the photo, he left the caption section empty.

But fans took to the comment section to reveal they are possibly aware of exactly what is going on.

One said that despite his loss, Fisher is still winning. “He’s still got your girl and he’s slaying It and you are still talking about it…don’t be so hurt.”

Another added that he is Team Matt all the way. “[I] would’ve done the same thing, should have slapped him right across the ear. [I’m] behind you a 100 percent.”

One fan couldn’t help but laugh and added, “A picture is indeed worth a thousand words” Some fans even hopped on Twitter to share their thoughts. One joked that Barnes is behind Fisher getting fired.

Another added that Barnes is heading in Fisher’s direction.

One pointed out that the brawl between the two wasn’t a good look for Fisher.

Another laughed that Barnes would be popping up on Fisher after he cleaned out his locker.
