After a short hiatus, CW's hit series The Vampire Diaries will return Thursday with an all-new episode titled Bring It On.

The 16th installment of the season four show features Damon (Ian Somerhalder) attempting to bargain with the powerful Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

In new footage from the upcoming installment, Damon confronts the English vampire in order to uncover what Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) knows about Katherine's (Nina Dobrev) location. In the process, he also tries to convince him to get the cure back for Elena's (Nina Dobrev) sake.

Elena makes a return to her original high school as a cheerleader. However, unlike cheering while a human, her vampire self isn't quite the team player.

Stefan (Paul Wesley) tries to address to Elena that she can't be feeding on her cheerleading teammates. Elena also makes the decision to throw a wild party that soon results in an ugly fight.

Collectively, the Salvatore brothers try to find a way to handle Elena's situation. Turns out they actually end up sending her back to high school because they thought it could return her to normalcy after the death of Jeremy.

Next week's Because The Night episode features Damon finally coming to his senses that sending Elena back to school wasn't the best idea. He then opts to take her out of school and bring her on a getaway trek to New York City. The weekend won't exactly be filled with romance, as Rebekah unexpectedly makes an appearance. Wet Paint reported that she'll find out that Elena has a secret agenda.

The Vampire Diaries is set to air its next episode, Bring It On, at 8 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 14. A preview video can be viewed below.
