Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler attended a benefit held by bandmate Joe Perry, where he bought a car worth $1.1 million.

The custom-made Hennessey Venom GT Spyder was from a Stuart House benefit, where the singer performed with Perry.

There were only five of the GT Spyder models made, so if you're driving down the streets of LA and spot one, there's a high chance Tyler's in that car.

Steven had reportedly asked John Hennessey to build the automobile as a roadster. "We had to make a few structural changes to our integrated rollcage in order to be able to fit the removable top," said Hennessey, according to Jalopnik. "This increased the weight of our vehicle by about 30 lbs to a curb weight of 2743 lbs. "

The car can reach 200 miles per hour in 16 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars in the world.

Tyler hit the news earlier this month when he passed the Steven Tyler Act, protecting celebrities in Hawaii. According to the act, stars are given the right to sue paparazzi over unwanted photos and recordings during private moments.

The act passed with 23 out of 25 votes in Hawaii's State Senate.
