He has his own secrets that have already started to come to light as Detective Cornell (Juliette Lewis) digs into his past to determine if he killed his wife, but the investigation will lead to Eric Warner (Michael Ealy) learning even more about his wife's potential activities outside of their marriage on Secrets and Lies.

Eric will find himself cornered when Cornell finds him to ask him some questions-sans attorney-and the conversation won't go well from the beginning, when Cornell admits she wouldn't it suspicious if insisted on having representation with him in order to talk to her.

"Where were you two weeks ago on Wednesday night?" She asks in a preview clip for the Sunday, Oct, 2 episode.

"Why are you asking me questions without my attorney?" He replies.

"I can ask. You don't have to answer. But it makes me wonder what else you're hiding," she says. "Where were you Mr. Warner?"

Eric will then admit he was spying on Kate (Jordana Brewster) as she had a meal with an ex, something he will insist was solely a business related meal when Cornell continues to press on the issue, and also admitting he had no problems with Kate going to the dinner, as his issue was with the ex-boyfriend.

"Two weeks ago, I was watching my wife have dinner with her ex-boyfriend, Shane Campbell...Shane has a high tech security firm, Kate said he just needed legal advice," he says.

"There are plenty of good lawyers in this town," Cornell notes.

"Nothing happened Detective," he says. "I trust my wife."

"And yet, you followed her," she says.

"I don't trust Shane Campbell," he replies.

Cornell however will see her opening to goad him with information he may not know, which may then prompt him to once again say the wrong thing which will make Cornell suspect him even more.

"He and your wife met two more times after that," Cornell says. "Were you aware that Kate was seeing her ex on a regular basis?"

"No matter how much you dig, you'll never find anything to prove that I killed my wife," he says.

Secrets and Lies airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
