Battlefield 1, the latest entry in the series developed by DICE, is soon going to get its first DLC named They Shall Not Pass. Meanwhile, Electronic Arts (EA) has shared some additional details on the soon to be released expansion pack.

The first Battlefield 1 DLC, They Shall Not Pass, releases in March. EA in the details has revealed the new maps, of which there will be four: Verdun Heights, Fort Vaux, Soissons, and Rupture, reports PC Gamer.

The leaked details which were noted by Games Radar are listed below:

New Elite Class includes Trench Raider, which is Melee focused character who packs around a lot of grenades. A new Behemoth also revealed that is Char 2C Super Heavy Tank with a new vehicle: St. Chamond tank - Heavily armored tank built by the French as the second, heavy tank of WWI.

New stationary weapon revealed, that are the short barreled Siege Howitzer. Artillery battery will take the place of the Field Guns on the new maps. And finally a new game mode i.e. Frontlines , which is a mixture of Conquest and Rush modes where two armies will play "tug of war" over objectives. When one army captures another's HQ, they will then have to attack telegraph posts to stop communications and win the round.

A new mode i.e. Frontlines, will see "both teams fight for one flag at a time." When one team captures the flag, the focus moves onto the next capture point as they further push into enemy territory. When one team makes it all the way to the other's HQ, "the game then turns into a Rush-style section where telegraph posts need to be attacked or defended." It sounds like Frontlines could create the opportunity for lengthy, back-and-forth battles for attrition over a single area.

There's still no specific release date for They Shall Not Pass outside of 'March 2017,' though we know that owners of the Premium Pass will get two weeks early access to all DLC.  Battlefield 1 is now available in all regions on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
