With the release of Bioware's latest action role-playing video game sequel, "Mass Effect: Andromeda," now just a few week away, the company has now revealed more details about the game to its eager fans. The game itself just recently went gold last week, which means that the game is basically already complete. However, developers aren't off the hook just yet as they still do have a lot of updates and patches to create after the game is released.

A report from Dualshockers reveals that the development team behind the game is now apparently quite busy creating the day one patch for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Bioware's Ian Frazier recently tweeted that a "good portion" of his team is now hard at work on the patch. The patch is expected to be finished before the game is released later this month.

Additionally, a report from Gamespot reveals that Bioware has already announced the download size for the game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and on the PC. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will reportedly be at least 45 GB on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, but not more than 60 GB. The PC version, on the other hand, will be a hefty 55 GB. The system requirements for the PC version was also previously announced, and it seems like the game will not be that demanding based on the minimum setup that is required.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be the fourth installment in the overall "Mass Effect" video game series, but it will be set in an entirely different time. The characters from the original trilogy will, unfortunately, be absent. The game will be featuring an entirely new set of characters, with most of the game taking place in the Andromeda Galaxy. Players will be taking the role of either Scott or Sara Ryder, recruits that have joined the "Andromeda" initiative to populate new worlds in the new galaxy.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 21. However, a multiplayer beta will likely be launched a few days before it is released.
