Starting March 16, EA Access subscribers would have the chance to play Mass Effect: Andromeda five days before its official release on March 21. However, it looks like the Origin Access subscribers would not have the same rights of use.

The BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn confirmed that the game won't have a season pass as asked by a fan on Twitter. The vice president of the video game company simply tweeted "Nope."

As his answer didn't satisfy the eager fans, they insisted for him to give more details about the coming Mass Effect: Andromeda like the type of DLC the game would have. "We'll talk more about that later," he simply said.

To recall, Titanfall 2, which was released in October 2016, was also not part of the EA's season pass, according to PC Gamer. On the other hand, the Mass Effect Twitter page and the producer Michael Gamble confirmed the early release of the upcoming title on Origin Access.

However, it is not yet clear what kind of access players would have, although EA game titles from the past allowed its players to play up to 10 hours of full experience a number of days before the official launch.

Moreover, WWG reported that EA and BioWare have been doing their best to develop Mass Effect: Andromeda. The two companies, too, are taking all the right steps to build the hype and anticipation for the much-awaited Mass Effect franchise.

Meanwhile, another report from PC Gamer noted what Origin Access is. It is a monthly subscription worth $5 that will give the game enthusiasts an exclusive access to play the games before its official launch.

Aside from Mass Effect: Andromeda, there are a lot of free games and full-access timed trials gamers can enjoy. The trial is usually up to 10 hours of full gameplay to Battlefield 1 and Fifa 17, while the game's library has Star Wars: Battlefront, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Mass Effect 3 and a whole lot more.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to be released on March 21 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
