Tom Cruise reportedly failed to make Angelina Jolie his fourth bride, so he opted to pursue a British woman instead.

Cruise has been trying to find true love all these years, but he always ends up divorcing them after things fail to work out. He first married Mimi Rogers in 1987 before tying knots with Nicole Kidman on the same year he filed for divorce from his first wife.

After his split from Kidman in 2001, he waited for nearly six years until he was able to share his life with Katie Holmes. But like his first two marriages, his union with the "Batman Begins" actress also ended.

But years after the actor last dated someone, he is seemingly ready to mingle again as he is reportedly smitten with a British woman now. Ok! Magazine's February 7 issue, according to EpicStream, revealed that Cruise met the woman through his friends weeks ago.

Although they just met, things between them reportedly fired up already that the actor now thinks about popping the question to her.

"A few weeks ago, he was introduced to a beautiful British actress and was instantly hooked. Tom has gotten lots of flak for being over-the-top when he falls in love, but he's an incurable romantic," a source said.

While Cruise's religion could be an issue, the woman is reportedly open to join him in the church to make their potential relationship work out.

Rumblings about the two Hollywood stars started when fans launched a petition as they wanted to see them work together in a movie.

However, those buzzes have since been dismissed - the same as the recent reports about the British woman.

Far from what the magazine claimed, Cruise is currently single and has not confirmed his relationship with any woman. In addition, the actor seemingly dedicated himself to Scientology, and it seemingly caused Kidman to break up with him.

"She knows why, and I know why. She's the mother of my children, and I wish her well. And I think that you just move on. And I don't say that lightly. I don't say that with anything. Things happen in life, and you do everything you can, and in every possible way, and there's a point at which you just sometimes have to face the brutal reality," he told Vanity Fair.
