Joe Alwyn proclaimed that there is no room for cheating in his relationship with Taylor Swift.

For years, Alwyn and Swift prove that people cannot break what they know. Although they publicly confirmed their relationship, they chose to keep things private in order to safeguard what they have.

Swifties might even hear wedding bells soon, as the actor recently talked about sticking to Swift and keeping their relationship healthy.

Ahead of the release of the upcoming Hulu's "Conversations with Friends," the actor spoke about his character's open relationship in the series. But he also made it clear that it is not the case in his relationship with the pop star.

During the show's CTAM presentation for media on Tuesday, Alywn said he is happy in a monogamous relationship.

"I think people can do what they want and makes them happy. I'm obviously happy in a monogamous relationship," he said, as quoted by Deadline.

Although his character does not have the same fate as him, he applauded Sally Rooney's novels as the author reportedly aims to explore happiness, love, desire, and intimacy.

Why Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift Keep Things Low-Key

Despite the current spotlights they are into, Alwyn and Swift can keep their mouths shut about their dating life.

As for the reason the actor does not want to talk about their relationship, he previously told British GQ that "someone's private life is private." He also firmly said that no one is obliged to share details about their personal life.

The duo first met at the Met Gala in May 2016. Swift's song "Dress" on her 2017 album "Reputation" seemingly recalls their first meeting. For what it's worth, the song lyric goes, "Flashback to when you met me, your buzzed cut and my hair bleached." At that time, the singer indeed bleached her hair for the event.

However, Swift was still dating Harris when she met Alwyn. But only months later, online sleuths said the couple attended the same Kings of Leon concert before the singer attended the actor's movie screening in November 2016.

In May 2017, dating buzzes started to surround their names.

"After her 1989 tour and all the attention Taylor received, she learned she had to be more protective of her personal life and she and Joe decided early on to keep their private life private," a source said.
