The trailer to the Downton Abbey: A New Era is coming out tomorrow, and we cannot wait.
The historical fiction series, based on a noble British family moving through the Edwardian Era and the Second World War ended in the year 2015. However, this well-beloved show, after a successful film that came out in 2019, the franchise is set to come out with a second.
This next movie, titled Downton Abbey: A New Era, as far as we can tell from the teaser trailer, begins when Violet Crawley, played by Maggie Smith, reveals that she newly owns a villa in the south of France.
Downton Abbey has claimed a hold on the hearts of many around the world. We are all eagerly awaiting the trailer tomorrow to find out anything more that we can about what this sure-to-be incredible new movie has in store. We have, however, managed to get some first-look photos of this highly anticipated new film. The elegance and grandeur of the original series is breath-takingly present in these photos. We can be certain that, while the teaser trailer suggests we may be heading to France, we will still be transported back to the Downton Abbey world that we know and love.
