Wendy Williams' friends is said to be concerned about her these days.

Wendy is apparently in a downward spiral following the shocking announcement that Sherri Shepherd will be taking over "The Wendy Williams Show" full-time in the autumn with her show "Sherri."

Following months of health updates from the former DJ, producers revealed on Feb. 22 that Wendy's show would cease after its 13th season and be replaced by Sherri's new show.

Wendy's friends are now concerned that she is ignoring her health after losing her show.

Wendy, who is presently in Florida with her son Kevin Hunter Jr., is missing medical appointments, according to a close friend of the 57-year-old, who informed the New York Post over the weekend.

People are worried about her and her well-being, according to the source, and while she is having fun in the Sunny State, her friends and family want her to return home to New York City so she can get her life together.

Wendy Williams was forced to take a prolonged break from her extremely famous purple chair in July 2021 because of her many health challenges, including Graves' disease complications and a breakthrough case of COVID-19, as well as mental health concerns.

Another insider told the site that they are concerned for Wendy, whose life appears to be deteriorating.

The mother-of-one is reportedly "irritated" because she was dismissed from her talk show, which was her passion and all she had.

What comes next for Wendy Williams now that it's gone?

Her lawyer indicated that her absence from television is only temporary and that she will make a big TV reappearance soon. However, it is uncertain when this will occur.

Wendy Williams, as previously reported, believes the cancellation was a "slap in the face" to her time on the show.

Another insider told OK magazine that Wendy was able to achieve 2.6 million views on her YouTube profile solely through her following - "Not Sherri and not the production firm."
