Bad news for Broadway fans! Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick have tested positive for COVID-19, and an upcoming schedule for their critically-acclaimed show, "Plaza Suite," has been canceled.

The show's production took to their official Instagram page to share the shocking news, saying the actress tested positive for the virus after a second test.

Since the husband-wife duo has contracted the virus, their April 7 show has been canceled.

The producers also took the opportunity to apologize for the inconvenience the situation has caused audience members.

They advised fans who have purchased their tickets to contact their point of sale to reschedule for a future show or get a refund.

As of this writing, only the April 7th show has been canceled. Meanwhile, the production has not announced whether future shows will also be affected by the incident.

The latest news comes two months after the "Sex and the City" star made her Broadway comeback after two years.

Parker and Broderick took the stage in February to perform in front of a sold-out crowd at the Hudson Theatre.

The "And Just Like That" actress took the time to express her gratitude during the curtain call, saying she's thankful for the "warmth, hospitality, kindness," and her fans' attendance.

The 56-year-old star added her supporters have been patient, optimistic, and enthusiastic over the past two years.

Initially set to preview on March 13, 2020, "Plaza Suite" got halted because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Broadway News reported that the show was able to premiere a month prior, and the opening night was set at the same venue on March 28.

The Broadway show tells the story of three couples, all played by Parker and Broderick. The three sets of lovers stay in the same hotel room as they navigate through their connections.

"The Visitor From Mamaroneck" is the first act, which revolves around the story of Karen and Sam Nash as they try to blossom their relationship again.

The second act, "Visitor from Hollywood," is about Jesse Kiplinger and Murial Tate. The third and final act features the true-to-life story of Roy and Norma Hubley.

Before playing the iconic role of New York City fashionista Carrie Bradshaw, Parker worked as an actor on Broadway, and "Plaza Suite" marks her on stage comeback after two decades.
