"Star Wars" star Daisy Ridley has made her grand come back to Instagram following a Buzzfeed News interview where she vowed never to return by cutting social media off "like a Skywalker limb." Since returning to Instagram two days ago, Ridley's account contains three posts that seem to illustrate a refreshed and playful mindset towards her return to the platform.

Ridley's first post to Instagram featured a futuristic photo of Ridley's self-care regimen as she sips tea from a porcelain cup. She captioned the post with, "Coming out of social media hibernation refreshed, recharged, and ready for what I'm calling my "Year of Yes". (And that's the tea.)" The actress also announced her return to the platform with an Instagram story with a simple "Hi again."

Other posts from this new chain of posts include one of humorous artwork of herself and a brief promo for her new Netflix Judd Apatow film "The Bubble," where she stars as an exercise A.I. in a scene opposite Pedro Pascal.

Previously, Ridley had expressed her feelings about social media, revealing to Buzzfeed, "I honestly think now with social media and stuff...it's great to have freedom of expression, but I do feel like people think opinions have so much weight. I don't really think bad vibes should have the sun shone on them," she added. "Like, I don't want to read your thing!"

Ridley isn't the first "Star Wars" star to find social media a harsh environment. Previously, after starring in 2017's "The Last Jedi," Kelly Marie Tran, who played Rose Tico, was bullied off social media with racist and sexist comments. When asked how she's felt since leaving social media, the actress said, "I've truly just been so much happier without being on the internet. I've had my agents tell me [I'm] forgoing brand partnerships, but I'm not here to sell flat-tummy tea to young girls."

We're happy to see Ridley's return! We hope her experience on social media has improved and she's getting much more positive things from it now.
