It's been put out into the universe. Lady Gaga would host the Oscars.

Lady Gaga should be the queen of everything. On this subject, most people agree (most correct people, that is.) From music to acting to establishing her own makeup line to being an all-around fantastic person, the star's ability to do it all cannot be questioned.

It sounds like she is ready to add even more credentials to her resume, too. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Gaga mentioned that, if the offer ever came her way, she would eagerly take on the role of hosting the Academy Awards.

Um...hello? Best Oscars in history alert?!

When the interviewer asked if Gaga would ever consider the position, the phenom quickly and enthusiastically replied.

"I absolutely would consider hosting the Oscars...It's a really wonderful thing to be able to make the public smile, and over a hundred million people watch the Oscars.

"It's really a privilege to be a performer and to be an inventor in pop culture."

The star was being interviewed by Vanity Fair in light of her new makeup line with Haus Labs, which she hopes to have fully ready to go by the time her next tour starts. The mission of her new entrepreneurial endeavor is to create fun makeup that also is not damaging to the skin.

On the road to create this product, many told her it could not be done. Gaga's response?

"I love when people tell me that I can't do things because it just makes me want to prove them wrong."

So, who do we talk to to make this Oscars hosting thing official?
