Charlie Puth and Jungkook are the musical duet the we never knew we needed and are certain that we cannot live without.

It was recently announced, to the sadness of their fans across the world, that BTS, the most popular band globally, would be taking a break.

With their required military service approaching, the group declared that they would one day be back, but for now they would seek independent musical ventures on their own.

One of the band's members, Jungkook, has not only already started his solo career– he has officially started his duet career.

The worldwide musical phenomenon teamed up with the fan-loved icon Charlie Puth for a new track titled "Left and Right." The collaboration has been highly anticipated, by both fans of Puth and the BTS alum.

Today, the song was released, and no one has been disappointed.

The song hits the perfect Venn Diagram center that compliments both stars' well-known sounds. Honestly, we never would have put them together. Now that they are, can we get an entire album of this?

Just one hour ago, Puth himself Tweeted out in response to the massive and immediate mega-success of the song. The musician wrote:

"Thanks CPF and ARMY! 10 million views in 12 hours is NUTS!!!"

Not only does this immediate skyrocketing of success scream volumes to the team's massive talent, but the song's success is also historic. As one Twitter user pointed out:

"Jungkook is the first and only Asian soloist to achieve two times iTunes All-Kill in all 8 biggest music markets on release day with his songs Stay Alive & Left And Right."

This song also ALREADY made history. In ONLY twelve hours.

Well, we are heading off to spend our weekends listening to this song on repeat!
