It appears that acting runs in the family blood of Reese Witherspoon as her son Deacon Philippe had already worked on several projects and his sister might join his mom in the highly-anticipated sequel of "Legally Blonde."

Speaking to Extra, writer Mindy Kaling reveals she wanted to work with Reese's daughter Ava Philippe as she's the one working on the sequel's screenplay.

"Listen, I think I can do anything, and if that's something [Ava] wanted to do, what a joy to have her in that," she said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Mindy shared her working experience with Reese's 18-year-old son in the series "Never Have I Ever."

The comedian praised the young actor for being funny and talented as well as being "very handsome."

"We had a great time with him on set, and he is like his mom where after he wrapped, he sent me a handwritten note, thanking me for being on set. You could just tell Reese is his mom," she added. (via People Magazine)
