After the successful airing of the fourth season of "Stranger Things," Noah Schnapp revealed that he took another path outside of acting as he currently has a summer job.

Speaking to Flaunt, the 17-year-old star said he works as a lifeguard, but it wouldn't be permanent as he only applied for the position to do something as he waits for his freshman year in college to start.

He noted that he got the job because it was "just for a fun thing" but he believed that he kept it grounded as he wanted to live a normal life despite being one of the hit Netflix show's biggest actors.

Noah Schnapp's Future Plans Aside From Working on 'Stranger Things' Season 5

Opening up about his goals in the future, the "Bridge Of Spies" actor just celebrated his high school graduation and wanted to finish his studies over the next few years.

Schnapp has been accepted to his "dream school," The University of Pennsylvania, where he's going to study business.

Although he will be busy with his academic work, the actor said he will not be leaving acting behind as he will continue his work in film and television.

The reason why he wanted to take a break from acting is that it became "repetitive" for him and he wanted to try something new.

In an interview with Variety last month, he clarified that acting would still be his priority in the future as it became a significant part of his life and he will continue play any character that was given to him.

Outside acting and finishing his studies, Schnapp wanted to try and explore more things in the film industry as he also aims to direct, produce, and write things in the future.

It appears that the actor is heading in the right direction in pursuing a business degree as he already became an entrepreneur at a young age.

Last year, the star, who plays the role of Will Byers in the hit Netflix show, launched his vegan hazelnut spread product called To Be Honest.

Millie Bobby Brown Also Doing The Same Thing As Noah Schnapp?

Schnapp noted that his co-actor, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the role of Eleven, also wanted to take the path that the star is taking.

"Millie Bobby Brown is doing the same thing with her schooling, she's kind of learning about other things. I thought it would make more sense to do something different. And business was a pretty clear next thing for me," he added. (via Daily Mail UK)
