With the new season of AMC's hit zombie series, The Walking Dead, fastly approaching, it's only appropriate that fans have been relentlessly scouring the web for the latest info on the popular program.

One of the show's topics that's been highly speculated as of late is the abilities of the walkers for the upcoming fourth season.

While comic book creator and executive producer Robert Kirkman didn't delve too much into the finer details of the flesh-eating wanderers, he did inform TVLine on Sept. 10 that fans are in for "some really intense, scary, very detail-oriented zombies [this season]. More so than anything you've seen thus far."

Although the zombies will indeed become more of a threat to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the prison group members, Kirkman made it a point to stress that the main plot revolves around the TV series' core characters..

"As far as changing their methods or behavior or evolving in any kind of major way, that's really just not the point of the show. The show is about these characters. And the zombies are present and they will always be a threat, but the show isn't really about these reatures evolving into something new," he explained.

AMC's The Walking Dead will be making its return for season 4 on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central Standard Time. To get the inside scoop on the popular program, be sure to keep checking back with Enstars.
