Fans of The Blacklist are closer than ever to finding out Tom Keen's true identity.

At the end of last week's "Courier," Liz Keen (Megan Boone) received some startling information from Reddington (James Spader) regarding her husbands past activities. Tom (Ryan Eggold) is currently shown as a suspect in a murder thought to be perpetrated by an American double agent. Coupled with the box of passports and the classified nature of the ballistics form his gun, this new tidbit has Liz ready to confront her husband.

However, when she returns home, Tom is one step ahead of her. Armed with the incriminating box, Tom wants to know just what his wife is up to.

"We don't know if Tom knows what's going on and is hiding it, we don't know if Tom is completely innocent and really asking for the truth," said Eggold in a recent behind the scenes video."The bottom line is that finally the cards are on the table and they're going to talk about it and something is going to happen."

While fans wait on pins and needles to see how this conversation will play out, a press release for this week's episode, "Gina Zanetakos," states that Liz's husband will plead innocence. Whether or not Tom is telling the truth remains to be seen.

Writer Jon Bokenkamp implies that this story still has a ways to go before it plays out completely. Bokenkamp also revealed that this information leaked by Reddington will also be important to those that have the Keen's under surveillance, i.e. the man who is always shown eating an apple.

"The ramifications that it has for the people who are watching Liz and Tom, that matters, to people on the periphery, to people who are not within the central core or our show at the moment," Bokenkamp explained in the behind the scenes interview. "It has a trickle down effect and that leak of information is going to comeback to be incredibly important.
