The highly anticipated U.S. shipment of the Samsung Galaxy S3 may be delayed by two major carriers. If rumors are true, then Sprint and T-Mobile may have to push their shipment dates back due to the high demand for the phone.

The extreme popularity of the phone  may mean that some Sprint and T-Mobile customers may have to wait a bit longer. According to Sprint, they will have the 16GB Galaxy S3 in stock to deliver to customers on June 21 but for those who were hoping to purchase a 32GB phone will have to wait until next week.

Sprint posted: "We are optimistic that we'll be shipping all Samsung Galaxy S3-16GB pre-orders this week and that they will be delivered by June 21 as anticipated. There is a chance however, that we may be a day or two late. We anticipate shipping all Samsung Galaxy S3-32GB pre-orders this week."

For T-Mobile, they will launch the device on the anticipated date of June 21 only for 29 select markets, including New York, Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco, Denver, Cleveland, and Portland. Once again, due to the extremely high demand, the release date will be pushed back to June 29 for everyone else.

The SGS3 can be purchased for $199 with a two-year contract with Sprint. However if you want it cheaper, go to Wirefly. Wirefly offers the Galaxy S3 for just $179.99, when purchased under a 2 year contract on the Sprint network. The site will ship the device to customers on June 21, and even offers a $10 credit for Google Wallet with each order.

T-Mobile customers can go on a two-year value plan and pay $229 for the smartphone.

The Galaxy S3 will be available on all major U.S. networks, including AT&T and Verizon. The unlocked version sells for $649.
The cheapest deal for the phone however, is being offered by Target and AmazonWireless, which is both offered the new smartphone for just $149.99 last week.

Samsung's latest handset is expected to dominate the Android smartphone market with its huge 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280x720p resolution. The phone features an 8MP camera, 1GB ram and a powerful Exynos 4 Quad (1.4GHz) processor. The Samsung Galaxy S3 follows its predecessor - the Galaxy S2 - which was the best-selling mobile phone in the world.
