Divorce rumors continue to plague Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, despite strong denials from the couple. There were even reports DeGeneres wanted a "younger woman." But, why would the talk show host be divorcing her beautiful wife after putting so much money into their new home?

Ellen And Portia's Big Summer Plans!

In early May 2014, Radar Online reported that DeGeneres had put around $40 million into her new Los Angeles home with de Rossi. DeGeneres even added a private spa to her house! According to the site, the comedienne "will be able to enjoy her view from the top while soaking in all her success from the private tub in her very own spa on the top floor of the ginormous 13,400 square foot home."

Although initial reports have said that DeGeneres and de Rossi want to renew their vows in de Rossi's native Australia this summer, maybe the couple should invite friends and family to their own abode.

The Los Angeles home the couple shares also has a koi pond, tennis court, pool, open atrium, dining room with a masonry outdoor fireplace and built-in BBQ, art gallery, wine storage, four bedrooms and much, much more.

DeGeneres and de Rossi have been through some tough times, but according to DeGeneres, the couple is more in love than ever. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you," the Ellen host has said in the past. "We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."
