After rumors of divorce have been following Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi for months, it seems the couple is now ready for a baby.

Talk Show Host Announces Portia de Rossi's Role On 'Scandal'

On Tuesday, Radar Online reported that DeGeneres and de Rossi are working on how to situate a baby into their busy lives. "Ellen has always said that she wants to have children with Portia one day, but she wants to wait until things slow down for her," a source told the website.

DeGeneres is hosting her daily talk show while getting ready to launch a lifestyle brand. De Rossi is set to be on ABC's Scandal next season.

"Ellen is so good with kids and when a friend is having a baby, she loves to shower the mom with gifts," the source continued. "She is very generous with others kids, so one can only expect that it will be the same when she has one of her own."

The website continued reporting that DeGeneres gets kids laughing "in seconds" because she starts making funny faces and silly voices.

This month, In Touch Weekly also reported that the couple will be "starting a family" to "salvage their marriage."

The magazine reported that de Rossi is "convinced" a baby could change everything. But Gossip Cop reported that the report wasn't true. A DeGeneres insider told the website that the tale is "complete B.S." No comment yet on Radar Online's newest report, however.
