The Walking Dead is known for having its share of creepy zombies, but next season will likely be the one to watch out for considering that it surprised the people who work on the show.

Executive Producer Dishes On 'Great Things Coming' In Season 5

On Monday, Zap2It posted some details from Norman Reedus (Daryl) who dished on what the walkers will be like next season. During his appearance at Comic-Con 2014, he mentioned how shocked he was on how it all looks.

"There's crazy walkers this season," Reedus said. "Oh my god. We just did some stuff that was insane. Like, insane. I'm constantly blown away by this team over here."

Executive producer Greg Nicotero also dished on the zombies with the impression that they're going to be even worse than how they were in previous years.

"We've done stuff this season that far exceeds even the burn walkers, the crispy guys - and the well walker, the moss walker that's trapped under the tree - I feel like those were all sort of appetizers to some of the stuff we've done [in Season 5]," Nicotero said. "I love putting those little things in there."

The producer also mentioned that there will be a part with a zombie being blasted by a fire hose, which he claims has never done been done before.

"I defy anyone to tell me there's a movie where they use a fire hose to blast zombies into pieces," he said. "I do really feel like the show elevates those moments, and those moments are fun and exciting. We have a lot of those this season."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere on Sunday, October 12 on AMC.
