It looks like The CW's vampire-werewolf drama The Originals will be getting a Halloween episode this year, which is no surprise given the festive nature of the drama's New Orleans setting.

Stars Could Be Training For 'Intense' Final Showdown For 2nd Season Of 'The Originals'

A casting call went up on Access Atlanta Thursday night for extras in a "Halloween party scene."

The tone of the scene is described as being "festive, elaborate, sexy and fun," with auditioning extras urged to make their own costumes. The call asks for men and women above the age of 18. The scene will be filmed in Conyers, Ga. on August 13, though it will likely be used as a New Orleans set as the series has yet to divert much from its primary setting.

Phoebe Tonkin Admits Hayley Is Relying Too Much On Klaus On 'The Originals'

Perhaps the Halloween episode will set the stage for the big Mikaelson, for which Sebastian Roche (Mikael) and Joseph Morgan (Klaus) have been training. Roche announced his training for an "intense" fight sequence on Tuesday, while Morgan noted his involvement in similar activity on Wednesday. With the long, violent history between Klaus and his father, it is more than likely that they were training for some kind of battle between the immortal father and son.

With this season's dark "fairytale" theme, it's possible that the Halloween festivities could be designed as a pleasant backdrop to contrast darker, more sinister activities.

The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
