On Monday Sebastian Roche (Mikael Mikaelson) told fans that he was rehearsing a fight sequence for an upcoming episode of The CW's The Originals. While the nature of the fight was at the time uncertain, now it seems that the infamous Mikealson patriarch will be facing off with his son Klaus (Joseph Morgan).

"Training for #TheOriginals in Piedmont Park, Atlanta GA," tweeted Roche on Tuesday afternoon. The photograph the actor included with the post shows a shirtless Roche wielding a metal pole outside, reminiscent of the pic he shared on Monday when boasting an "intense" fight sequence.

On Wednesday Joseph Morgan posted a similar, though far more vague, announcement of his own. "Today I rehearsed a fight with a very dangerous being," tweeted Morgan that afternoon.

The fact that Roche was rehearsing a sequence and training for the show just days before suggest perhaps the fight will be the big Klaus vs. Mikael showdown fans are waiting for. Roche seems to have been preparing for the sequence longer, suggesting that Mikael will be doing the most physical work in the scene. With three episodes already completed, the fight can occur no earlier than episode four.

Morgan remained tight-lipped on the details, though he did joke that his oponent was up for some competition against the "dangerous" Klaus.

The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
