Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will be facing a lot of havoc wrought by their parents in the upcoming season of The CW's The Originals.

New 'Respected And Feared' Werewolf Heads To New Orleans For 'The Originals'

Recently, creator and producer Julie Plec admitted to Buddy TV (featured below) that while Mikael (Sebastian Roche) and Esther (Alice Evans Gruff) will be causing quite a bit of trouble for their estranged sons, the pair are not necessarily working together. "They have yet to become aware of the other," revealed Pled, admitting that the two won't know about each other until at least episode six.

"New Orleans has been shaken to its core," Plec admitted …you're basically no good to be a vampire in the state of Louisiana right now."

'The Originals' Gets A Sexy & Fun Halloween Episode

It seems like being a Mikaelson in Louisiana won't be too easy either. Even as Mikael's return spells trouble for Klaus, the tormenting of his son won't come easy. He is still under Davina's (Danielle Campbell) control and Plec noted that they've been likening the relationship between the infamous Mikael and the young witch as being similar to Aria and The Hound on HBO's Game of Thrones.

While Klaus is determined to rid the world of his parents for good this season, fans will also get a little insight into what made the mother and father he hates so desperately into the individuals that were first introduced on The Vampire Diaries.

Plec teased that Mikael and Esther's "young love story" will be told during the second half of the season, which will also prove to be the drama's oldest flashbacks to date.

The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
